Michigan State’s Men’s Basketball Team has overcome more than its fair share of health problems this season. Matt Costello lost time battling mononucleosis. Adreian Payne has missed four games with plantar fasciitis. Travis Trice has missed time while battling illness. And, now, another blow to Michigan State’s roster as Junior Power Forward Branden Dawson is slated for surgery tonight to repair a broken bone in his hand. Reports say Dawson broke the bone after slamming his hand on a table while watching game film. He is expected to be out of the lineup for four to five weeks.
