N. 29th St. Closed For Water Main Work In Battle Creek

As water main improvements continue on numbered streets in Battle Creek, 29th Street is the next to see a closure.

The City of Battle Creek says that from 7am to 7pm daily, North 29th St. from Goguac St. to Territorial Rd. will be closed to thru traffic, until work is completed. The City expects that the work will be finished in late July or early August.

This is the latest phase of a project that "aims to replace water mains that have experienced problems with freezing and breaks". Besides the water main replacement, the streets will be repaved as well.
