Daylight saving time in Michigan begins at 2 AM Sunday, March 11th.  What does this mean for you?

Fact #1

According to a Michigan State University study, when we 'fall back', and daylight saving time ends, we only gain 12 minutes of sleep and not one hour. In the spring, when that hour is taken away, people lose an average of 40 minutes of sleep.

Fact #2

Daylight Saving Time is NOT plural.  Many people call it Daylight Saving(s) Time.  Stop it!

Fact #3

Changing the clock twice a year is stupid.

Fact #4

A study by Careerbuilder reveals that the daylight saving time switch costs the US economy $434 million a year in lost productivity and increases in worker injuries.  (See fact #3.)

Fact #5

It finally starts getting light out at a decent time of the morning in Michigan then we have to "Spring Ahead" and wreck the whole thing!

Don't forget to set your clocks forward one hour at 2 AM Sunday, March 11th, 2018.  We don't want you to be an hour late for work Monday Morning.  Or would you be an hour early?  URGH!
