Meijer Athlete of the Week: Noah Eckert
Noah is a four-year varsity soccer starter for Harper Creek High School and attends the BCA Math and Science Center with honors. Noah is in the top 13 percent of his class and coaches a variety of sports, including basketball and indoor soccer for youth through the Wattles Park Men's Club sports organization.
On Sept. 13, the Harper Creek boys soccer team beat Eaton Rapids with Noah's one goal. Then he had a goal Sept. 15 in a 2-3 loss to Lumen Christi. On Sept. 17, Noah had a goal and assist in the 2-0 win over Charlotte. Then on Sept. 19, kicking for Harper Creek's football team, Noah hit a 24-yard field goal and got 7 extra points in the 52-45 triple overtime win for the Beavers against the Charlotte Orioles. Finally, on Sept. 20, Noah had a goal in the 2-0 win over Pennfield, in the 3rd place All-City match.
