Meijer Athlete Of The Week: Mitchell Flesch – Harper Creek

In the game of lacrosse, just like in hockey, almost every goal needs one or two good passes for a team to score. For the Harper Creek Beavers, they have one player that can set up those opportunities.

In their first year as a varsity team, the Beavers are 2-2 on the season with their wins led by junior attacker Mitchell Flesch. In the two victories over Vicksburg and Grand Rapids Catholic Central, Flesch scored four goals and six assists, including a three-goal, three-assist night over Vicksburg in the season opening 12-9 win.

The Beavers host Mattawan tonight in Southwest Michigan Lacrosse Conference action.
