A Freeway Party? Why Not?!

Okay, maybe that's not a fair comparison to the I-96 project in Metro Detroit, considering Battle Creek's stretch of I-94 probably would never completely close for construction. But it helps convey the challenge for motorists in Metro Detroit, who have altered their travel plans for months while a 7-mile stretch of I-96 was rebuilt. Sunday, the stretch reopened, but not before a party on the highway. Ten thousand people showed up for the party. Yes, ten thousand!
