Two men who have been sitting in jail since they were teens, may get a chance at freedom. The Associated Press reports that Saulo Montalvo and Christopher Peltier participated in the robbery and fatal shooting of a Grand Rapids store owner in 1996. Montalvo was the getaway driver and Peltier grabbed a cash register at the Beer Cooler. On Friday, a judge reduced the no-parole sentences for both men.
