Air Monitoring In Detroit Neighborhood

State officials will be paying close attention to air quality in a Detroit neighborhood. According to the Associated Press, that neighborhood is near an oil refinery and other heavy industry. The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality says an ambient air monitoring site has been located at the New Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in southwest Detroit. The monitoring study will be conducted for one year.
