Albion Rape May Not Have Been at Abandoned School
The alleged rape of a 17 year old Albion girl may not have happened the way it was first reported. Police were initially led to believe that the girl was abducted on Dalrymple Street in Albion, and then assaulted by a black man in a gray hooded sweatshirt at the abandoned Dalrymple School early Monday.
Albion Department of Public Safety Chief Scott Kipp says they are continuing to investigate the sexual assault, and have gained information that the victim and suspect may have previously known each other, and that the incident happened in a private residence and not at the former Dalrymple School.
