According to the latest study for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce performed by Northwood University, they found that Michigan's regulatory and tax environment is more attractive to businesses.

The 2014 Michigan Economic Competitiveness Study also found that Michigan is the top-performing Great Lakes state. In addition, the study found that Michigan is growing at an average rate of 2.56% during the last three years — that is better than the Great Lakes region rate of 2.07% and national rate of 1.97% percent.

The question you have to ask yourself is why is this happening now, could it be the policies of Governor Snyder and the Republican controlled House and Senate?

You decide.
