The Tigers were supposed to play a doubleheader today, to make up a game from that first week of the season in April.  But the way the weather in Chicago has been this spring, there's no guarantee of any baseball being played at Guaranteed Rate Field!

So the plan now is for the Tigers to play the regularly scheduled game on Friday night at 7:45.

And the two teams will play a "natural" doubleheader on Saturday, with the broadcast starting at 1:45pm on 95.3 WBCK.  A "natural" doubleheader, could also be called a "classic" doubleheader, or "old-timey" doubleheader.   They play one after the other, just like in the old days, when Cubs star Ernie Banks would cheerfully say "Let's play two!"

But the league and owners discovered that they could make a lot more money by clearing the stadium between games.   I'm not sure what Ernie Banks would say about that.

The Tigers have a day game scheduled in Chicago on Sunday, and then head to Kansas City for three straight night games, starting on Monday..
