New Businesses Planned For Arcadia Building In Battle Creek

Just a few days after Arcadia Brewing Company announced they were closing their downtown Battle Creek location, plans are already being made for that soon-to-be-vacant building.

The Battle Creek Enquirer says that the owner of the 34,000 square foot building on Michigan Ave. intends to fill the space with restaurants and pubs on the first floor, with the second floor destined to be around 20 apartments; the goal is to get businesses moved in by springtime.

Arcadia opened at that location in 1996, and announced on Friday their last day of operation will be September 2. They opened a Kalamazoo location in 2014, and previously had moved their base of operations to that location.
