Yesterday, analysts were predicting that gas prices would continue to drop, but that path suddenly turned sharply, and now gas prices are up again.

According to GasBuddy.com, the Michigan average for a gallon of gas was $1.83 on Monday, but as of Tuesday morning the average is $1.93. It's still a couple dimes less than it was a year ago, but higher than we've had in recent weeks.

As well, the national gas price was below $2 yesterday for the first time since 2009, but that did not last long, the national average now at $2.07.

If there are any more unpredictable price changes in the coming days, we'll let you know.
