Armed Robbery In Lakeview

Officers from the Battle Creek Police Department responded to an armed robbery, Friday evening, at Happy's Pizza located at 1180 W. Columbia Avenue.

A single male suspect entered the store, at approximately 8:45 PM, armed with a handgun and demanding cash. He then fled on foot.

Battle Creek Police were assisted by Calhoun County Sheriff Department and a K-9 unit, but were unable to track down the robber.

The suspect was described as a light skinned black male wearing camo pants, tan jacket and red bandana with tattoos on his neck.

Police ask anyone with information to contact 911 or silent observer.
