Athens School Closing Tue-Thu

Athens area schools will be closed through Thursday, due to problems with the East Leroy well. According to a release from Athens schools, they had to pull the pump out of the well in East Leroy, because of a broken wire. Because the well was opened, the Health Department has been contacted, which recommends that school remains closed until there have been two water tests, coming back clear. With current plans, school will be closed Tuesday, November 15^th through Thursday, November 17^th.
