I interviewed Congressman Justin Amash (R- 3rd District MI) today.

We spoke about why he voted no on both the Kate’s law, named after Kate Steinle who was killed by an illegal immigrant in San Francisco and his no vote on H.R. 3003, the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act, a bill that would defund cities that prevent their police from turning over illegal aliens to federal authorities.

Congressman Amash was the only Republican to vote against Kate’s law.
