Auto Repair On Ford’s Dime

Ford Motor Company is offering free repairs, for SUVs with exhaust problems. The Associated Press reports that Ford is responding to customer concerns about exhaust fumes, by offering to inspect and repair Explorer SUVs at no cost to their owners. Ford maintains that the vehicles are safe, but that they are responding to customer concerns about exhaust odors and carbon monoxide. Ford has sold more than 1.35 million Explorers since 2011, when the exhaust problems began.
