UPDATE: Trever Cohoon was taken into custody without incident Thursday afternoon.

Detectives in Calhoun County have identified two suspects, and arrested one, believed to be responsible for home invasions and thefts earlier this month in the Battle Creek area. William Paul Jones has been taken into custody and was arraigned on several charges. Detectives are still looking for the second suspect identified as Trever Allen Cohoon. He is approximately 5’5” and 120 pounds.

The burglaries were reported on August 1st.  Deputies responded to the Binder Park Hills Subdivision near 6 Mile Rd in Newton Township for three separate residential burglaries. Suspects had reportedly entered three different homes through the garage access doors and through the kitchen of one of the homes. All three homeowners were home at the time of the burglaries.  Wallets, purses and money were taken in the crimes.
