The 2nd Annual Caribbean Festival kicks off at 5 p.m. at Kellogg Arena due to inclement weather. The family friendly event was originally going to be held at Festival Market Square in downtown Battle Creek.

There will be food trucks, island drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and Caribbean inspired vendors at the event including: Jamaican Spice, Redline BBQ, Caribbean Chill & Grill Taste of the Caribbean doing Caribbean cuisines, Taste of India as well as Great Scott Ice Cream featuring fruit favors from the Caribbean.

Performances include:

Uprizin Steel Band: 5:45 p.m.-7:15 p.m.

Limbo Contest: 7:15 p.m.- 7:45 p.m.

Tribute to Bob Marley with Devon Brown & Karl “Kofi” James: 7:45 p.m.- 9:15 p.m.

Sunshine Fire Breathers: 9:15 p.m.- 9:45 p.m.

Indika: 9:45 p.m.-11:15p.m.

Ticket prices are as follows; $8 for adults, $5 for seniors, members of the military and for ages 12 and younger.

The event runs until 11:30 p.m.
