Battle Creek Commissioner Gray Discusses Dr. Velma Laws Clay

Battle Creek civic leader Dr. Velma Laws Clay will be honored October 11, 2016 with a special ceremony renaming her neighborhood street "Dr. Velma Laws Clay Way". Clay passed away July 1, 2016 at 75.

Battle Creek City Commissioner Lynn Ward Gray worked on various projects with Clay and discussed her legacy with WBCK. Gray also talked about the upcoming dedication and Clay's contributions to the city's history and education.
