Battle Creek Home Destroyed In Fire

A house in Battle Creek caught on fire and burned this morning.

Crews responded to the scene on Cherry Street shortly before 2am.

The Fire Department reports the home had a large amount of combustible material inside and the fire had already caused extensive damage by the time they had arrived.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
