Battle Creek Police are investigating a home invasion, that occurred early Saturday morning, and have made an arrest.

According to a release from the Battle Creek Police Department, officers arrived in the 100 block of South Woodrow Avenue, around 5:15 AM. Officers determined that several personal items and two vehicles had been stolen from a home there.

Shortly later, one of the vehicles was located. A male suspect got out of that vehicle and fled on foot, but was quickly apprehended. The second vehicle was also recovered.

One of the suspects in the incident, a twenty year old Battle Creek man, was lodged at the Calhoun County Jail for Home Invasion and Resisting Arrest, and the investigation into the case continues.
