Freeway exit ramps and an interchange at I-94 exit 88 will be upgraded starting Monday, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

MDOT spokesperson Nick Schirripa tells WBCK much of the traffic using the ramps is truck traffic going to and from the Target distribution center and nearby Eaton Corporation. The result, he said, would be a more user-friendly set of ramps and roads accessing Michigan Avenue and 40th Street.
