Battle Creek Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Girlfriend With Gun

A Battle Creek man is in jail after an alleged assault Friday.

Around 10pm June 3, Officers with the Battle Creek Police Department responded to the 100 block of Oneita St, after a woman says she was threatened.  The victim told police that her boyfriend had threatened her with a handgun at her home.

Authorities found the 35-year-old suspect on Oneita St, and arrested him after a brief altercation.  At the scene, authorities located two handguns.

The suspect has been lodged at the Calhoun County Jail on multiple felonies.
