Battle Creek Man Arrested For Murder Of Infant

A Battle Creek man is being held on murder charges in the 2014 death of a 20-month-old infant.

The victim was found unresponsive at a home on Old US 27 back on December 18.  The baby girl died the next day at Bronson-Kalamazoo.

The Medical Examiner's Office ruled the death a homicide last week and a warrant was issued for the 28-year-old suspect.

The man was arrested this morning at around 8 by members of the Major Crimes Task Force according to the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office.
