A traffic stop in Battle Creek turned up a variety of drugs Thursday night.

A Battle Creek Police Officer pulled over a car around 8:15pm Thursday, because of loud music, on Capital Ave. SW near Beckley.  When the officer approached the driver, the man appeared to be actively smoking marijuana.  The 35-year-old man was arrested on possession of marijuana and for driving on a suspended license.

The suspect’s car was then searched, and inside investigators found methamphetamine, meth making materials, and cash.  The suspect was also found to be a habitual offender, and was out on bond on a meth charge already.

The suspect was lodged at the Calhoun County Jail, on various drug charges.
