Battle Creek Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash

A Battle Creek man is dead after a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon.

Around 5pm, Battle Creek Police, Fire, and EMT crews responded to the intersection of West Michigan and Collier on reports of a crash between a motorcyclist and a vehicle.

At the scene, authorities found the motorcycle driver, and the 65-year-old Battle Creek man was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the other vehicle, a 59-year-old Battle Creek woman, was arrested, and lodged at the Calhoun County Jail on an OWI causing death charge.

The crash remains under investigation.
