Battle Creek Man Killed In Pennfield Crash

A 61 year-old Battle Creek man was killed in a car accident in Pennfield around 1 PM Wednesday afternoon.

It appears that the man, driving a black pick-up, failed to yield at the intersection on North Avenue and Arcadia Boulevard. After failing to stop, he was turning from Arcadia onto North when his truck was struck by a large utility vehicle. He was transported to Bronson-Battle Creek, where he later died.

The accident is still under investigation by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
