Battle Creek Man Shot Sunday Morning

Battle Creek police officers responded to a call of shots fired, at 2:00 Am. Sunday morning, in the 100 block of Claire Street.

After arriving in the area of the shots fired, they were advised that there was a shooting victim at Battle Creek Bronson who had a gunshot wound to his leg.

The 25 year-old man was treated and released for minor injuries.

There are no suspects at this time, but the investigation is ongoing and authorities are asking that anyone with information regarding this incident call the Battle Creek Police Department or Silent Observer.
