Battle Creek Man Shot

Police say a Battle Creek man was hurt in a drive-by shooting yesterday. Investigators found out about the shooting when the victim showed up at the hospital. The man told police that he was walking near Post Avenue and Euclid when a late model white or grey car drove by him, and he heard a popping noise. He said he noticed the gunshot wound to his calf shortly after. His injuries are considered non-life threatening.  Police ask that anyone with information contact them.
