Battle Creek Man Stabbed

The Battle Creek Police responded to a report of a robbery, at 2:00 AM. Monday morning.

A 46 year-old man was walking in the area of Elm Street, near Vanburen Street, and as he approached the linear trail a man jumped out and demanded money. The victim started to fight the thief and then realized that he had been stabbed in the arm. The suspect then fled the scene without getting anything.

The victim could not provide a very detailed description of the suspect, who is still at large. The victim received non-life threatening injuries.
