Battle Creek Snow Emergency

The city of Battle Creek has declared a snow emergency as of 6 a.m. today.

City officials say parking on city streets is banned to allow for snow plowing and unmoved vehicles may be towed.

City offices will be closed and buses and tele-transit services are canceled today.  County administrative offices and buildings, including courts, are also closed today.

Albion also declared a snow emergency to keep cars off city streets until 8 a.m.
