Battle Creek Students Create Friendship Tree At Willard Library

Battle Creek students work together to bring a message of support to others who need it.

I visited the Willard Library and spoke with Kristine Pioch, Public Relations Librarian at the Willard. She showed me this amazing creation and told me a bit about it.

Students spent the past four Wednesday afternoons making a Friendship Tree in the Teen Room at Willard Library. With the help of local artist Sabine LeDieu, students created the tree and added the encouraging words. Visitors are invited to take one of the hearts for support. More activities are planned for Teen Wednesdays in February.
