A 14-year-old teen from Battle Creek was arrested after his mother said she was assaulted because she would not take him out for dinner. The Battle Creek Enquirer says police were called to the 200 block of South Leland Drive Tuesday evening. The mother said he swung at her with his fist and then he began poking at her with various objects.

Police arrested the teen and took him to the Calhoun County Juvenile Home. He was previously arrested on a charge of domestic assault back on May 2nd in another case involving his mother.
