A shooting after a house party has left a Battle Creek teen in critical condition.

Police responded to a home on Cleveland Street around 5am Sunday, where the victim’s brother showed up asking for help after the 19-year-old teen was shot. Police had spoke with the victim earlier in the night, when they responded to a house party near Tennyson Avenue and Harrison Street on noise complaints.

The brother told police that the two were walking near the area of Capital Avenue and Rittenhouse when they heard shots fired, and realized the 19-year-old had been shot.

No arrests have been made at this time, but if you have any information please contact the Battle Creek Police.
