Battle Creek Teen Shot, Suspect Sought

The Battle Creek Police is looking for a suspect following a shooting Thursday afternoon.

Authorities responded to Bronson-Battle Creek around 1pm after an 18-year-old man was taken there with a gunshot to his leg. Investigators learned the victim was involved with a dispute with another person in the area of Walter Avenue and Buckeye Street when the shooting occurred.

The victim is in stable condition and expected to recover.
