The Battle Creek Fire Department has once again teamed up with The Salvation Army of Battle Creek, MI to help kids in our community have a happy holiday. The Battle Creek Fire Department is collecting new, unwrapped toys to be given to children in the community.

Six of the Battle Creek's fire stations will open their doors to the public to collect toy donations, with hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Station 1 is the only exception, opening at 8:00 a.m. and  closing at 5:00 p.m. Toys can be dropped off at any of the stations now through Tuesday, Dec. 18:

  • Station 1 – 195 E. Michigan Ave. (open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
  • Station 2 – 145 N. Washington Ave.
  • Station 3 – 222 Cliff St.
  • Station 4 – 8 S. 20th St.
  • Station 5 – 1170 W. Michigan Ave.
  • Station 6 – 2401 Capital Ave. SW

You can drop off new, unwrapped toys to Station 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and to Stations 2-6 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Dec. 18.

The U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program also has collection boxes at the Battle Creek Police Department as well as City Hall.
