Battle Creek Transit Users Asked To Fill Out Survey For MDOT

The City of Battle Creek is working with Michigan State University to conduct a survey of users of the Battle Creek Transit system.

If you’ve used the Tele-Transit system in the past year, you’ll receive a survey in the mail that can be turned in to a Transit Driver or mailed to MSU. For users of the bus system, two Michigan State University students will be riding various lines Friday, March 24, Wednesday, April 5 and Saturday, April 8 to help distribute a paper survey to bus riders.

Either survey can also be filled out online.

The survey is being conducted by MSU on the behalf of the Michigan Department of Transportation, which now requires that transit agencies conduct surveys every three years. The hope of the survey is that the data can be used to improve services not just in Battle Creek but throughout Michigan.
