Battle Creek Transit Set To Buy Two Used Buses To Add To Fleet

Battle Creek is set to get two new buses for the transit system soon.

A resolution in the consent agenda for Battle Creek’s City Commission meeting Tuesday night will allow the City Manager to execute the deal between Battle Creek Transit and the Central Ohio Transit Authority. The deal will see the city buying two 2007 model year buses, at around $6,600 apiece.

After the resolution passes, the purchase will first have to be approved by the Federal Transit Administration.
