Three neighborhoods in Battle Creek will be seeing water outages this week, while water crews replace valves, in preparation for street resurfacing.

Boil Water Advisories are forthcoming for the affected areas.

Tuesday, April 19

 A Boil Water Advisory has been released by the City of Battle Creek for the areas being worked on Tuesday, April 19.  Boil Water Advisories typically last for 24 hours, and the City recommends the boiling of water for one minute before using it for cooking, drinking, washing teeth or washing dishes.  

            8 a.m. to 4 p.m. water shutoff

            Parkway Drive between Washington Avenue and Hubbard Street

            Bowen Avenue between Kendall Street and Howland Street

            Greenwood Avenue between Wood Street and Hubbard

            Hancock Court between Greenwood and Parkway

            Kendall between Parkway and Greenwood

Wednesday, April 20

            8 a.m. to 4 p.m. water shutoff

            Grenville Street between Cliff Street and Post Avenue

            Lathrop Avenue between Euclid Avenue and Grenville

 

Thursday, April 21

            8 a.m. to 4 p.m. water shutoff

            Burnham Street between LaVista Boulevard and Fairhome Avenue

            Eldred Street between Woodrow and Bechman avenues

            Winter Street between LaVista and Bechman

            Bidwell Street between LaVista and Bechman

            Summer Street between LaVista and Bechman

            Territorial Road between Arbor Street and Bechman

            Pleasant Avenue between Eldred and Territorial

            Wiltshire Avenue between Eldred and Territorial

            LaVista between Burnham and Territorial
