Battle Creek Woman Stabbed and Robbed

Police are hunting for a suspect after a woman was robbed and stabbed early this morning in Battle Creek.  The attack happened at around 12:20 on Northeast Capital.  The victim was stabbed in the arm and items were stolen from her purse by her attacker, who then escaped on foot.  The knife was dropped at the scene.  Investigators say they got enough information from surveillance videos nearby to identify a suspect.  The victim was treated at Bronson – Battle Creek.
