The Battle Creek Youth Advisory Board is looking for new members.

The City of Battle Creek says that city residents aged 14 to 20 are eligible to serve on the board. The YAB meets once a month, and members are encouraged to attend City Commission meetings and engage in the community.

The Youth Advisory Board sets its own agenda, and is intended to help the youth of Battle Creek become involved and make the city better for young people. A YAB member will also sit on the dais with commissioners during city commission meetings.

Applications are due by Friday, April 14 at the city manager's office. The form can be found here. For more information, go to battlecreekmi.gov.
