The City of Battle Creek is trying out a new, creative way to let citizens know about progress that was made in 2017.

The City says that they have created a “story map”, which involves photos, maps, text, and other interactive multimedia formats. The presentation serves as an annual report, with the goal of offering a "fun, easy way" that residents can learn about progress that was made last year.

The map recaps improvements made to the W.K. Kellogg Airport, the ePaint Recycling program, the animal ordinance discussion, and more.

The map can be found by clicking here.
