In an ongoing series of discussions with area lawmakers on The Richard Piet Show, Senator Mike Nofs (R-Battle Creek) and Rep. Dr. John Bizon (R-Battle Creek) both agree the approach lawmakers should take after the Kalamazoo County random shootings last weekend isn't necessarily clear.

Both discussed the idea that all the facts aren't completely known in the Kalamazoo shooting case, which would complicate how lawmakers might proceed with any kind of solution. Nofs, a former law enforcement officer, also discussed his thoughts about the incidents from that perspective.

Nofs and Bizon also discussed the ongoing ripple effects of the water crisis in Flint, including their impressions of some of the details of the most recent emails released by Governor Rick Snyder's office.
