The Battle Creek Community Foundation sprung into action once Battle Creek artist Richard Schlatter's ArtPrize-winning A. Lincoln portrait was ready to be relocated.

Today, the piece - in the image of the former president using 24,000+ Lincoln pennies - is on display in suite 5 of the Hampton Building in downtown Battle Creek, where the BCCF offices are located.

BCCF CEO Brenda Hunt tells 95.3 WBCK what the plans are for the piece - along with the lengths it took to actually get the 400-pound portrait in place.
