BCPD And Credit Union Run Bank Robbery Drill

If you witnessed a bank robbery in Urbandale yesterday, don’t worry, the police were there the whole time.

Officers with the Battle Creek Police Department Crime Prevention Unit were at the Post Community Credit Union Urbandale Branch Monday, conducting a mock robbery drill.  In the drill, both police and employees practiced and learned how to respond to stressful and dangerous situations.

This is the second training exercise Post Community Credit Union and BCPD have conducted together, with the department calling it “an excellent learning experience for all involved”.
