Bearcat Alum Honored at 55th Reunion

Saturday was a special day in Battle Creek.  It was Sue Everhart Hayes day!  The Battle Creek Central Class of 1959 gathered for their 55th Year Class Reunion.  One woman has organized all eleven of them!   

WHEREAS:  SUE EVERHART HAYES, a lifelong citizen of the City of Battle Creek, has shown Outstanding Devotion, enduring Dedication and commitment to the Class of 1959 battle Creek Central High School.

WHEREAS:  SUE EVERHART HAYES has provided exemplary Service, Organization and Leadership to provide her 1959 BCHS Classmates, with Eleven (11) Outstanding Class Reunions which served to preserve our memories of BCHS.

WHEREAS:   SUE EVERHART HAYES has consistently served as our communications liaison by sharing classmate news and events over the period of fifty-five (55) years to maintain the bond forged years ago.

WHEREAS:   SUE EVERHART HAYES has been a devoted mother, grandmother and citizen to the community of Battle Creek, Mi.

WHEREAS; This resolution and Tribute further resolves, the day of Saturday, September 13, 2014 be named SUE EVERHART HAYES DAY for and in the City of Battle Creek, MI.
