The Fourth of July is the pinnacle of summer! While your planning your barbecue cookouts, back yard fires and pool parties, be sure to check out the best places to catch Fourth of July fireworks in 2015! Here are a few of our favorites (in no particular order):

Keep in mind that the firework display you may want to catch could be taking place the day before or after July 4, just check the schedules and give yourself some time to get on the road. There will be a lot of travelers out next weekend!

1.  Battle Creek's Field of Flight Air Show & Balloon Festival

When: July 3 at 10:30 p.m.
Where: W.K. Kellogg Airport on Helmer Road

The Fireworks they hold on the military base are one of the best in town and close to home! With multiple fields and sites to choose from to view the fireworks, the whole family can attend the big bang! Plus, this is a 15 minute long presentation - that means it is the third longest IN MICHIGAN!

2. Light Up The Lake Fireworks - South Haven

When: July 3 at dark
Where: South Haven Beach Front
Why: What better way to open the day than going out to the beach to have fun in the sand and ending it with a great firework show over Lake Michigan! Not only is South Haven a marvelous beach to have so close to home, the downtown area has great places to eat and check out before you grab your beach chairs and stake your territory for the light show. No seat is a bad seat on South Haven Beach!
