Boil Water Advisory in Place South of Downtown Battle Creek
Recent work on a portion of a Battle Creek water main has forced a boil water advisory for an area near the Post plant.
Residents that live on Cliff Street from Jericho to Marjorie, Lathrop Avenue from Grenville to Inn, Illinois Street and Euclid Avenue from Cliff to Lathrop, and Nelson and Marjorie streets from Cliff to Post are affected. Those residents will be asked to boil their water for cooking, cleaning or drinking for a minimum of 24 hours or using bottled water.
