Police are working to neutralize a bomb found this morning at sub station on Elm Street.

Battle Creek Police say two gasoline cans and some sort of an ignition device were found at the Consumers Energy electrical substation.  It's located about a quarter mile north of Michigan Avenue on Elm Street, across from the former Wolohan Lumber Company.   Police say it was found about 9:30 a.m.

Members of the Battle Creek Bomb Squad are at the scene preparing to neutralize the device.

Police blocked off Elm Street from  Michigan  to Van Buren Street.   They used a remote controlled robot to move the gas cans away from the site.

Update 6/9/16 - Battle Creek police have named a suspect in connection with this case.
